Overview
THURSDAY
Everyone is welcome to arrive as early as Thursday evening. Those who choose to come up Thursday will go into the first-come-first-serve campsites at Rose Peak Loop.
FRIDAY
The Decorating Party will spend Friday morning setting up Lizard Rock, the group picnic area. If you have volunteered to be a part of the Decorating Party, breakfast will be provided at Lizard Rock. Campers are welcome to arrive any time Friday for a day of fun-filled activities including Thrasher-Hammond Family Trivia, a craft table, and yard games. Dinner will be pot-luck style.
SATURDAY
Lizard Rock, the group picnic site, will be available as early as 7am. Join us any time for more yard games and other shenanigans throughout the day. Parking at the group site is $10 per car. Ceremony to take place around 2ish. Call it a late lunch or an early dinner, either way, there will be food to follow.
Sunday
Enjoy one more day of fresh mountain air. The group picnic site, Lizard Rock, will be available until 7pm.
DIRECTIONS & WAYFINDING TIPS
From Grant Road and Tanque Verde Road, head east on Tanque Verde Road for approximately 5 miles to Catalina Highway and Tanque Verde Road.
Turn left, to head north, and continue 17 miles up Catalina Highway to the Rose Canyon Campground.
The campground is on the left. Look for signs for Rose Canyon Campground.
Lizard Rock, the group picnnic site will be the first site on your left after you’ve checked in at the ranger station.
Individual campsites can be found further into the campground. Look for signs that have your campsite number.
SITE INFORMATION
Lizard Rock is the group picnic site that we will be hanging out at Friday through Sunday, and is where the ceremony will be held. Lizard Rock is an accessible site that boasts some of the following amenities:
Large Ramada with 6 Picnic Tables & 2 Serving Tables
4 Additional Picnic Tables outside of the Ramada
1 Large Fire Pit
3 Grills
1 BBQ
Two Campground Style Restroom Facilities

CAMPSITE RESERVATIONS
Rose Canyon has a limited number of reservable campsites. In order to ensure we are all able to get our sites together, we will be reserving the campsites in bulk for the weekend. You can reserve your campsite through us by filling out the RSVP form. Payments for campsite reservations can be made to Brittany through Zelle after you RSVP.
Once everyone has completed their RSVP forms, you will receive an email from Brittany with your campsite number along with other important details.
Depending on how many people want to join us, we are tentatively looking to take over sites 40-63. Six of these are RV sites, 4 of these are tent sites. There are thirteen non-reservable sites, 4 of these are RV sites, 9 of these are tent sites. We will try to fill up the non-reservable sites first, with people who plan on joining us Thursday night.

PET POLICY
We want everyone to have a good time, including our four-legged friends. Pets are allowed at Rose Canyon and we encourage campers to bring their dogs.
Dog guests should be okay with the following:
Lots of new people
Children wanting to pet them
Other new dogs
A new environment
Summer Haven
FOR GUESTS WHO PREFER NOT TO CAMP
For guests who would prefer not to camp, Summer Haven offers a number of cabins for rent through sites like Airbnb.
Summer Haven is approximately 20 minutes from Rose Canyon by car.
Guests who chose to stay in Summer Haven will be responsible for making their own reservations.
